Kathmandu, 1 October: Pakistani ambassador … is returning home this month after completing his tenure here. He stayed here for almost two years. He is learnt to have been promoted and serving in the Foreign Ministry in Islamabad.

Similarly, American ambassador Randy Berry is returning home soon. Newly appointed ambassador to Nepal Dean Thompson has taken the oath of office in Washington.

Dean will succeed Barry.
