Both check points were closed from more than one month, citing increasing cases of Covid-19 in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Freight from both trading points  have been resumed after bilateral agreement following the visit of Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Li Zhanshu, as well as decreasing trend of Covid-19 infection. Seven big containers have entered Nepal via Rasuwa check point this morning and other seven containers would arrive this evening, according to  the Department of Customs.
