Kathmandu, 23 August: Tibet, the autonomous region of  People's Republic of China that borders Nepal, has been locked down indefinitely.The Nepali Consulate General in Lhasa has informed that the Tibetan authorities have imposed an indefinite lock down due to the increasing Covid-19 infection. In a letter written by the Consulate General to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday, it is mentioned that the lock down continues in various places including Lhasa in Tibet. "We have received information that the lock down is being extended every three days for an indefinite period of time," the letter said. Chinese authorities have been imposing a lock down in Tibet for ten days. Due to the increase in Covid-19 in Tibet, trucks  loaded with  goods meant for upcoming Dashin and Tirhar have been  stuck on the road. People's News Monitoring Service
