Demonstration in front of Parliament House demanding repeal of Citizenship Bill
Kathmandu, 18 August: The Nepal Workers and Farmers' Party protested in front of Parliament House, New Baneshwar, demanding repeal of the Citizenship Amendment Bill saying it was anti-national.
The party protested on Thursday in front of Parliament House, Naya Baneshwar, saying that the Citizenship Bill, which was sent back by the President for reconsideration by Parliament is not in the interest of the country.
The demonstrators shouted slogans like repeal the anti-National Citizenship Bill and end Indian expansionism. The Party has put forward a demand that the citizenship bill should be re-discussed and moved forward with consensus in the interest of the country
