Kathmandu, 21 July: On Wednesday,  Ambassador of Pakistan Syed Haider Shah and Haribhakta Pudasaini, Ward Chairman Kageshwori Manohara Municipality Ward 8, jointly inaugurated the Computer Laboratory at Shramsheel Vidyapith School, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality Ward-8, Kathmandu. The Laboratory has been renovated and upgraded with assistance from the Embassy of Pakistan on the eve of 75th years of Pakistan’s Independence.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Pudasaini lauded the efforts of Government of Pakistan for the education sector of Nepal.  Kamal Prasad Dahal, President of the School appreciated the Embassy of Pakistan for its assistance and highlighted that the new and upgraded Computer Laboratory would be a valuable learning tool for the students. He said the upgraded Computer Laboratory reflects Pakistan’s friendship and warmth for the Nepalese students.
Ambassador Syed Haider Shah highlighted the role of Pakistan Embassy in extending all possible assistance to Nepal for its socio-economic development in different fields, including education, health, culture etc. He stated that computer literacy was indispensable for bridging the digital divide. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to work closely with Nepal for the provision of quality education  to Nepali students at affordable cost.
