The Election Commission (EC) has decided to propose the government to fix the poll date of federal and provincial elections from mid to late November this year.
It is learnt that the EC is preparing to suggest the date between mid to late November for holding federal and provincial elections to elect the new members.
As per the election laws, the government shall announce the election dates in consultation with the Election Commission, and the EC has fixed an appointment with the Prime Minister for Wednesday.
The EC has reportedly planned to hold the federal and provincial elections within November 26 (10th of Mangshir).
The election for the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies were held in two phases in 2017. The first phase of elections was held on November 26 and the second on December 7.
