Government preparing to provide ID cards to refugees
Kathmandu, 27 June: The government is preparing to provide identity cards to those refugees sheltered in Nepal but unable to receive such a card earlier.
Home Minister Balkrishna Khand informed the National Assembly meeting today.
It is believed that under Western pressure, the government is planning to provide refugee identity cards to those Tibetan refugees and their kids sheltered in Nepal.
Once the Tibetan refugees receive a refugee identity card, they will get the opportunity to fly to Europe and the USA.
