
Kathmandu, 27 June: Cholera has been confirmed in 12 people in Kathmandu Valley including three others on Sunday.
According to Dr. Chuman Lal Das, the Director of the Division of Epidemiology and Disease Control under the Department of Health Services, out of the three added on Sunday, two are undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital and one at Star Hospital. Cholera virus has been found in Bagbazar, Sanepa, Thankot, Naikap, Balkhu, Balaju and Dilli Bazaar. Five patients have been discharged.
