
Kathmandu, 18 June: The Department of Foreign Employment said it was taking steps to streamline the process of sending care givers to long-term care centers in Israel. The department has stated that the necessary process is underway to send the remaining workers.
According to the labor agreement between the government of Nepal and the government of Israel, out of 1,175 workers selected as care givers in the long-term care center of Israel, 297 contracted workers have already flown.
The rest of the visas have not been issued due to labor disputes between Israeli Foreign Ministry staff. Although it has been said that visas and agreements will be issued as soon as the labor disputes of the employees in Israel is resolved.
