Kathmandu, 5 June: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has started export of 140 Mega Watt electricity generated from the 144 MW Kaligandaki A  to India from Saturday midnight. It has been sold  at a maximum price of Rs 19 per unit and a minimum price of Rs 4.08. Since Thursday NEA has been exporting 39 MW of electricity. NEA has exported the surplus energy to India after the power plants started running at full capacity due to increased flow of water in the river along with the rains. People's News Monitoring Service
