Maoist Center has won 117 mayor/chairman and 122 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Janata Samajbadi Party has won 22 mayor/chairman and 25 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Unified Socialist Party has won 16 mayor/chairman and 19 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Loktantrik Samajbadi Party has won 10 mayor/chairman and 9 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. RPP has won 4 mayor/chairman and 4 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Bibeksjeel Shaja Party has won 1 mayor/chairman and 1 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Samyukta Jana Morcha has won 4 mayor/chairman and 3 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party has won 1 mayor/chairman and 1 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Janamat Party has won 2 mayor/chairman and 1 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Tarai Madhesh Loktantrik Party has won 1 mayor/chairman’s post Nagarik Unmukti Party has won 4 mayor/chairman and 2 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts. Leading: NC is leading in 25 local bodies for the post of mayor/chairman and 30 local bodies for the post of deputy mayor/vice-chairman. UML is leading in 19 local bodies for the post of chairman/mayor and 31 local bodies for the post of the vice-chairmen/deputy mayor.
