Kathmandu, 9 May: Kathmanduites receiving drinking water from the Melamchi River for the past two weeks will not receive water during the rainy season. Basudev Poudel, chief, Melamchi Drinking Water Project has informed that with the beginning of the rainy season, the project is going to close the tunnel to protect it from floods in the river, reports Gorkhapatra daily.
