He died while climbing at an altitude of 8,200 meters, just 386 meters below the summit. The deceased has been identified as Narayanan Ayyar, 52. A team has been mobilized to rescue his body, according to reports. went on the mountain on behalf of Pioneer Adventure, a private company, had arranged  Narayanan's  climbing expedition.
