Deuba’s recent decisions are enough for UML’s surprising victory even after the five-party alliance. No difference at all The government has decided to give a two-day weekend effective from 15 may for saving consumption of petroleum products considering a surprising decline in its foreign currency reserve. A debate has started on the pros and cons of the two-day weekend. Some have argued that the Sunday holiday has been introduced to facilitate the Christian community from going to the Church. Be that as it may, what makes a difference from a two-day holiday in the country popularly known as a country of holidays! Of course, those corrupt officials, who have been deployed in lucrative posts by bribing their political boss with the commission in advance might be afraid of losing their commission income due to the additional holiday!
