Kathmandu, 19 April: The present government seems it does not need laws, rules, regulations, qualifications, norms. The decision to recommend ambassador by the Cabinet has been changed by the Foreign Minister and the Chief Secretary at the behest of their superior.
Tirtha Wagle, a section officer of 2052 BS, was recommended as ambassador to Myanmar. However, his country has been changed after he refused to go there and asked his father-in-law Ganesh Dhakal for help. Now he is going to Bahrain instead of Myanmar and Harishchandra Ghimire is being sent to Myanmar, according to janaaastha.com. When Sher Bahadur Deuba was Prime Minister for the first time, Wagle's father-in-law Ganesh Dhakal was his private secretary.
