Kathmandu, 16 April: As the date of the local level election is approaching, the Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of the central work execution committee this afternoon to decide the candidates for the metropolis and sub-metropolis. The meeting will discuss the issues of the chiefs and deputy chiefs of the metropolis and sub-metropolis as per the agreement reached in the five-party ruling alliance, according to a press release issued by Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel. The parties in the alliance, including the NC,  are still engaged in internal discussions while the opposition party CPN-UML has already finalized the candidates in different municipalities.
