Kathmandu, 16 May: A woman from Sindhupalchowk district has died of corona virus, the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed. This is the first death case of COVID-19 in Nepal. Issuing a press statement awhile ago, the ministry has confirmed that a 29-year-old woman hailing from Bahrabise of Sindhupalchowk  has died of deadly virus. She died on the way to  Dhulikhel hospital  as she was rushed to this health facility after she complained of breathing difficulties. The woman had given birth to a baby 10 days ago at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu. She complained of breathing difficulties after returning home. Meanwhile, the ministry has stated that COVID-19 cases in Nepal has reached 281 with confirmation of three cases on Saturday night. People's News Monitoring Service
