“Not Nepal-India relations but Oli-Modi relations have improved”

Kathmandu, 22 April: Former prime minister and coordinator of the Naya Shakti Party, has said that PM Oli’s recent visit to India has improved relations between Oli and his Indian counterpart Modi.

In an interview to Annapurna Post daily correspondent in Delhi, Aasha Thapaliya, explained: “Nepal-India relations are problematic in the long-run. We are engaged in unequal relations since the British rule”.

Bhattarai has suspected that PM Oli might have made internal understanding with the Indian rulers during his India visit.

In another query, Bhattarai said that implementation of federalism is still challengeable in Nepal.

Bhattarai, an atheist was in a pilgrimage trip to South India for his 88-year-old father Bjojprasad Bhattarai.
