Kathmandu, 15 April: Three former Indian ambassadors to Nepal are jointly visiting various Buddhist monasteries of Kathmandu Valley since April 9. India's former ambassador to Nepal Shyam Saran, Dev Mukharjee and Ranjit Ray's mysterious visit to Phulahari Monastery of Gokarna, Bhutani Monastery of Bouddha Ramhiti and Bhanjyang is being questioned by the Nepalis. National Janmanch vernacular weekly in its today's edition states that the retired Indian diplomats not only visited several other monasteries situated in Lalitpur district but also visited the prohibited area of Upper Dolpo. Former Member of Parliament Amresh Kumar Singh is reported to have facilitated their sojourn. In the meantime, Bijaya Jolly, political adviser to Indian Prime Minister Narandra Modi visited Kathmandu last week and held parleys with controversial businessman Arun KC. While in Kathmandu, he is reported to have met several other leaders other than the communists.
