Bangladesh Mission celebrates independence day

On the occasion of the 47th independence day of Bangladesh her ambassador in Kathmandu Ms Mashfee Bintey Shams hosted a reception on 26 March.
Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun was the chief guest whereas members of the Council of Ministers, constitutional bodies’ chiefs, Kathmandu-based diplomatic missions’ chiefs and office-bearers, leaders of various political parties, former ministers, ex-parliamentarians, industrialists, traders and artists and other distinguished personalities had attended the reception.
Giving brief remarks on the occasion, Ambassador Shams appreciated Nepal’s moral and physical support in Bangladesh’s independence movement.
She further expressed the confidence that Nepal would gain momentum in socio-economic development with the end to the political transition.
