IME General Insurance Ltd has brought into operation its 33rd branch office at the Ambe Complex in Teku, Kathmandu from Tuesday, 13 March.
Chirinjeevi Chapagain, chairman, Insurance Committee, inaugurated the branch office amidst a function on Tuesday. Company’s Board Chairman Hemraj Dhakal and other Board of Directors were also present on the occasion. Besides, local businessmen, industrialists, representatives from the insurance companies, officials from cooperatives were also present on the occasion.
Chapagain, while delivering his inaugural address, extended thanks to the IME General Insurance Ltd for being able to win the heart of its clients in a very short period of time.
Chapagain further said that as the insurance sector is going to create job opportunity to a large section of people, the insurance companies should give concentration on satisfaction of its clients by providing prompt service.
He also suggested to the people for being secured of their future through insurance of their property.
Addressing the inaugural session, chairman Dhakal said that the Company has been able to establish its image among its clients by providing prompt service through its branches all over the country.
This is the 33rd branch of the Company.
On the occasion, Company’s chief executive officer Yogesh Bhakta Bade informed that in the second quarterly month of the current fiscal year, the Company has been able to earn insurance fee worth 430 million rupees. From total investment of 850 million rupees, the Company has been able to earn net profit worth 48 million 82 hundred thousand rupees.
Accordingly, the Company has given employment to 220 staffers, he said.
