IME Ltd. and Muthoot Finance have signed an agreement for Indo-Nepal remittance services amid a program at IME’s corporate office in Panipokhari, Kathmandu. Khilendra Paudel, Chief Operating Officer of IME and K.R. Bijimon Chief General Manager of Muthoot Finance signed the agreement. The program was attended by Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Chairman of IME Group, Hem Raj Dhakal, Managing Director of IME Group, Suman Pokharel, CEO of IME Ltd, Anil Karki Business Head- Indo Nepal Remittance of Muthoot Finance and other senior officials from both the companies.
The company believes that the partnership will greatly help Nepalese community in India to easily remit money to Nepal. Muthoot Finance’s 4,600+ branches across India will make it convenient for the Nepalese to send remittances. The receivers in Nepal can receivethe amount through more than 7,100 agent locations of IME in Nepal. IME will also provide account deposit facilities to these customers besides cash payment options. The company is confident that the agreement will enhance business operation and customer experience. Global IME Bank Limited & RBL are the banking partners at Nepal and India respectively.
