image0012The fourth edition of Ekadeshma International Short Film Festival 2016 has opened submissions for both Nepali and international short films. The festival will take place in Kathmandu from November 11 to November 13 at QFX Cinemas Kumari hall.
Fiction, documentary and animation shorts under 30 minutes length are eligible for submission, the organizers said in an official statement released on Sunday.

According to the organizers, this year the festival will follow the tagline “and life goes on” to celebrate Nepal’s spirit of never letting go. The organizers have also said that this year’s festival will pay tribute to the late Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami.
Ekadeshma is one of the premium Nepali film festivals and has showcased over 140 films from more than 60 countries in its past three editions.
