The event will be open for four days which will host stalls of internet service providers, electronic security and safety and solution providers, hardware sellers and power solution providers, mobile accessories, dealers and distributors, ICT colleges and training institutes, payment solutions and others.
“The CAN Federation has been organising such events to promote, expand and develop internet communication technologies,” CAN said in a statement. “We hope that visitors will gain all sorts of information at the exhibition in which national and multinational companies will be participating.”
The event will be held under its official name Subisu CAN COMMTECH 2016 in Association with Samsung. “The exhibition will house 81 small and large stalls” said CAN.
The federation has set aside a separate pavilion named Electronic Security and Safety and Solution for companies dealing in security solutions. Visitors will find security equipment like CCTV, access control system, sensor and alarm, staff attendance, fire and smoke detector, fire fighter and other devices.
“After realising the importance of electronic security and safety and solutions, the federation has focused on educating visitors about such technologies,” said Bishwo Ram Balami, general secretary of the federation.

According to the federation, discount schemes on high speed internet service and digital TV transmission, Android mobile and innovative technologies and information related to government-envisioned smart cites will be the main attractions at the event.
The federation said that the event would be different from previous exhibitions like SoftTech and InfoTech. “The federation will also organise SoftTech and InfoTech later in the year,” said Bishnu Dhakal, president of the CAN Federation.
The entry fee has been fixed as Rs50 per person for the general public and Rs25 for students. The organisers expect footfall of around 150,000.
