Dabur Special Teej Festival 2016 at UWTC

image005The Women’s Creation Centre will be organising the Dabur Special Teej Festival 2016. The event will celebrate the major Hindu festival Teej, starting from August 11 – 15, at the United World Trade Centre (UWTC), in the Capital.
The event will have on exhibit goods and services produced by women, which, according to the organisers, will act as a platform for women entrepreneurs to share their creation and experiences; moreover, the event will feature 90 stalls featuring all of Teej essentials including religious paraphernalia, handicrafts, clothing, and home appliances. The five-day event will see a number of food stalls along with a plethora of artists and DJs.
At a press conference in the Capital the organisers said that they were expecting over 40, 000 visitors to the festival. The entry to the event is free and open to all.
