No trust motion intensifies disputes in NC and Maoist Centre

By Our Reporter
The no-trust motion registered in the parliament against Prime Minister Oli has led to the division within the NC and the Maoist centre.
Narayan kaji  Shrestha  of the CPN-Maoist Centre has opposed the move made to topple the Oli-led government while NC leaders close to senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel have criticized party president Sher Bahadur Deuba for registering the no-trust motion without discussing the issue in the party. NC leaders Prakash Man Singh and Dr Ram Sharan Mahat openly criticized Deuba for his latest move.
Party President Deuba called the meeting of the party central working committee Tuesday to discuss the issue.
The no-trust motion is sure to cause a further division among the key parties which had come together following the devastating earthquake of April 2015. Above all, it is likely to grow enmity between the two communist parties of Nepal, which will ultimately affect the implementation of the new constitution.
